As one of the most iconic symbols of American life, we have been here in the Sanpete Valley since the 1960’s. Grandpa Trux Lund had a vision and the rest is history.
We have grown and changed with the times and have expanded our snack bar twice because you love us! Our famous burgers are loved by many and there is nothing quite like a genuine double cheese burger from the drive-in. For that very reason, we open at 6:30 on Fridays and Saturdays so that you can come and enjoy a meal with us.
We have added things along the way like a vega-tray, warm cookies! Hot chocolate ice cream and most recently the vintage candys packaged by our own Towne Theatre Candy Company: Which have dwindled in the movie theaters.

The local gophers have lovingly chewed through almost all of the sound system and so now you can tune in your radio to 102.3 and listen in your car. The posts are still there to remind us of what once was…
Around the 4th of July, we try to have our annual car show and “vintage cars at the drive-in” night. Cars and clubs come from all over to join in the fun. Many thanks to Megan Dimmick and her team for hosting a wonderful evening.
So, bring your memories and your favorite car, the gates open at dusk except for Friday’s and Saturday’s and on those days we open at 6:30. And,
we’ll see you at the movies!

The Basin holds about 200 cars but…. we’ve had more than that in there!
